What is PBS?

Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) is a regulatory framework designed to encourage systems change for the purpose of improving the quality of life (QOL) for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). It consists of a mix of proactive, preventive strategies and evidence-based interventions that help decrease challenging behavior and maintain a stable environment for all.

 

Who runs this site?

This training site is a partnership between the Center for Developmental Disabilities Evaluation and Research/E.K. Shriver Center/UMass Chan Medical School and the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
